There's Something In The Air
I've stayed up till 3am to witness the MacWorld 2008 live....
Well, live is not really like video streaming, but its more like seeing text popping out and refreshing every minute or 2.
for example..
8:46am - Doors about to open, security in place.
8:48am - Camera crews entering, rest of press still waiting.
8:55AM - We're in! They're playing some new New Order, it sounds like. Mixing up the usual Coldplay / Gorillaz soundtrack. From Engadget
Damn, so much for updates, but it was pretty interesting as I was at 3 different sites and all just as sluggish.
Anyway, the main purpose of this post is about the rant about the MacBook Air and the fake rumors which keeps our hearts tempting...
First of all, MacBook Air, yeah its thin and all, but other manufacturers can produce equally thin notebooks if they didn't put anything in there at all, and it isn't the thinnest notebook according to wikipedia.. =S
"MacBook Air is a lightweight Macintosh subnotebook computer by Apple Inc. It was unveiled at the Macworld Conference & Expo on January 15, 2008, and is touted by Apple as the thinnest Macintosh notebook ever, at 0.76 inches (1.93 cm) thick at its widest part. However, the thinnest laptop ever, regardless of operating systems or manufacturers, was the 1998 Mitsubishi Pedion, which was 0.7244 inches thick.[1]"
MacBook Air
Pros : Extremely Light, Thin, Backlit Keyboard, OLED Screen, Intel Core2Duo Processor, Can bring to school and hide it in a file because its so thin.
Cons : Suffering from Anorexia, No disc drive, No Firewire, 1 USB, Ugly Keyboard and Price.
What does it all mean,
Why spend more to get something less...
Anyway, that sums it all up, just alil pissed why they haven't launched the iPhone in Malaysia...
Come on Jobsie, launch it already! its about time..
