Happy Seventeen.

Have you ever had the feeling of not having things to blog and suddenly having tons and tons of things to blog about till you don't know what to blog about? That's what I'm experiencing now actually.

Anyway, my buddies and family threw me a surprise birthday party yesterday.
Honestly to say that, I appreciate it allot, I don't even know how many times I've said that.
Felt so touched and gay all over..
Although not much expression of "surprise" was shown, because of the shadows through the window and other specious transactions my lack of emotion, I am really really touched.
The food was great, presents was great, everything was great..... once again thanks to all.
I'm not really good at describing it, so I'm letting the pictures do the talking and a lil bit of my commentary below it.

Preparing the surprise for me.

I'm stuck outside..

Milk The Movie

My brother's assignment.... staring Ivan "the mouse" Kang.

Director's review,
Milk is a metaphoric short film about growth, transition, mistakes & consequences...
It comes from the saying,
"Don't cry over spilt milk"

Actor's review,
I like cow.

12 August

Tiratana Seminar,
nothing really to blog about... Plain boring
except for these parts where we have to entertain ourself.

Storyline,
Tzia Tzia asked Ivan Cheong and Shaun to take care of her pencil box, and this is what they did to it.

This is after Tzia Tzia found out what they did to her pencil box.
(Shaun's bag)

This is really a random post.. I have no idea why I'm posting this up..

Nostalgic

Blogging at 1.18am when in another 7 more hours i'll be sitting for my Sejarah paper.

Decided to listen to some oldies, you seldom get musics like these this days.

Toto - Africa

Tears For Fears - Everybody Wants To Rule The World

Well critic the video, but the musics are timeless, (well actually they are pretty 80's but still awesome.)

These songs gets me the feeling in Vice City.

*just want to say Happy Anniversary to my girl.

Harry Potter And the Deathly Hallows

The Forbidden Book.

I'm holding myself not to start reading this book till the end of Trials..

Unfortunately, with all the hype about this book, Chun Doi spoiled some parts to me already.
Pity.

What's Wrong With You Malaysia?

Malaysia, Malaysia, Malaysia...
Negaraku, Tanah tumpahnya darahku...
What have Malaysia become in the 21st century.
As many of us know that Malaysia was a great country with full of pride when it first got its independence from the British and yes, we Malaysians were doing fairly well.
This week alone, many issues have been brought up regarding Malaysia.

For starters, Football news.
Past
Tunku Abdul Rahman was a big fan of football, hence the existence of the Merdeka Football Tournament.
Malaysia Football Association(FAM) managed to qualify for the Olympics's
Selangor team being able to trash Singapore flat in football friendlies

Present
Lost to China 5-1 on home ground
Lost to Uzbekistan 5-0 on home ground the following week

Malaysia trying to let in 50 goals to commemorate their 50th years of independence.
Some politicians said don't invite Manchester United over to Malaysia cause we should support Malaysia in the Asian Football Tournament.
Well its even more embarrassing to see Malaysia loosing 5-0 to countries like Uzbek and China.
Letting in 10 goals in 2 matches is a disaster for the team and what more for our country men.
How do we support a team where they can't even play nicely?

Moving on to Movies,
I'm sure you guys heard of the movie Bruce Almighty,

well in the past there was a big controversial issue about it,
mainly because of the issues about God where a certain group of people aren't happy of a black man protruding as God.
Well bad news you group of people, cause there will be a sequel in the Almighty franchise.
This time, God is still black and cool and here comes another new character for them to bomb.
Prophet Noah,(refer to the bible or wikipedia on who is he)
He is the coolest guy ever, and a wonderful builder, and he should help our contractor to fix all our government buildings to prevent their ceiling from collapsing.

Back the to point anyway, these politicians are just picking on stuff lately and now they are picking on this harmless movie, Evan Almighty.
I would say BUGGER OFF as why they should ban this entertaining and slightly educational(well it puts you in the interest of religions eh)movie when they can highly approve the movie Remp-it.

Reeeeemmmmmppppp-it.
This show clearly has no educational value at all and they are teaching the young to ride motorcycle illegally, encourage speeding, lepaking in the night, and gangster -ism.

Another 1 is the SMART Tunnel, I feel really embarrass especially when the country talk about making the biggest ketupat or sending astronauts/tourists to space when they spend 2 billion Ringgit on the tunnel and it can't even solve the issue of Rainwater..

Not so Smart tunnel

Cause of all these issues?
Religions?
Politicians?
Races?
Bribery?
inequality?

And the answer is, none of them.
Shocking?
I'm afraid not, other countries have different races religions and involve all those. But no countries have Nasi Lemak and Roti Canai.
Therefore i put the blame on Nasi Lemak and Roti Canai.

Roti Canai and Nasi Lemak pic were taken from the internet

Those are just my 2 cents and my 10cents too,

Majulah Malaysia. (copied from Majulah Singapura)

This post is clearly just for laughs and it should not be taken seriously and my apologies to those who were offended.

Original Concept

The teacher's more ideal version of the shirt.

Has SMK Seafield gone cheap?(look closely at the quality of the words)

Besides, I as the designer of the jogathon shirt(cheh, bangga) don't even have his own product, how pathetic is that?

Remove the "don't"s and "not" in the following statement.
Anyway, those who don't wish to reproduce the jogathon shirt, you are not more than welcome to do it. It would not look better than the school's current version of the shirt. Finally, it would * have the Kurnia Insurance Logo that everybody think it should not be removed.

*insert "not"

Besides that, what the commotion all about a jogathon shirt? hahahaa

Preparation for jogathon.

Yes, I'm sounding like Kenny Sia in his post where he gets ready for his Penang Bridge Marathon..
Tomorrows the day where i'm not gonna run 50km across the penang bridge but only 5km around USJ2.
All my "hard work" of only 2 months will begin to pay off.
My aim is not to win the jogathon or get top 15 but just finish it without walking or chit chatting with friends.
After 2 months of weekly practice, my stamina improved (well slightly).
During the last Merentas Desa, after the first corner, I was already panting and exhausted and I walked almost the whole journey back, at least i made it to the finish line with full of embarrassment.(afternoon session girls overtook me)

This time, I've been training I'm not gonna let that happen again,

Chee Mun (head coach)

Training in MPSJ

I like Clouds...Beats sunshine..
Wish me Luck..

KL

I never really had a picture of the Petronas Twin Towers before.
Never exactly observed the structure or the architecture of it too.
Wonder how is it build especially by Malaysians..

Yes we do see them everyday in our school text books still saying that they are the number 1 tallest tower in the world. But its still a great achievement by Malaysians.

Anyway, had a pretty interesting dinner today,

Behold the Fried Durian.

solar fun

Today, I had to replace Dao wei for his solar car competition.
Dao Wei was picked as one of the top 10 in Formula BMW, therefore he won't be in Sepang racing real cars(formula bmw cars) and we would be racing miniature solar cars.

The car wasn't built or designed by me. I'm more of the "test driver" of the car as you can say.
I did manage to tune it to its best performance... hehehehe Bangga..
The competition consist of 4 categories.
1. Design
2. 5m drag race
3. Portfolio
4. Bonus marks.

The Cars all lined up. look closely and you can spot a BMW M3 on the left. =S

In the designing category, we got disqualified because we don't have "a chassis or body work or some lego man inside the car" This was mentioned by Pn. Jega & Some annoying/kiasu/ahpek ss17 teacher. So we scored a 0 in that category.

In the 5m drag race, we could consider ourself pretty lucky.
The drag race consist of 3 trial runs.
The fastest time is recorded.

We were known as one of the underdogs there because of the appearance of the car and the support that we have. Other schools had about 5-6 people from their school cheering for their car and even the teachers were supporting their car. On our side, we had me and Hui Mei, the only supporter for SMK Seafield, our teacher was no where to be found and she was clearly useless too actually..

Our first run was brilliant and it stunned almost everyone there. When the whistle go off, our car didn't have the fastest acceleration but clearly beats everyone on its top speed.
Seafield did a time of 3.00 Seconds.
Apparently, when our car passed the finished line, it hit someone and suffered damage at the primary gear.

Our second run was pretty quick too but the damage can be noticed by the drop of speed and the alignment which made us disqualified as the car ran across the other lanes.

On our third run, we suffered a big lost because of the gear damage. The Car didn't finish more than 1/4 of the track.

But with only 1 time recorded, we manage to come in first beating second place by 0.2 seconds.
...

...

There were a few supporters after the race, many came to us asking about our car and they were all impressed with the concept of it. Even one teacher was greatly impressed with our school's car and she keep on showing it to her students and complimenting it.

Good Teacher

On the other hand, there was another teacher, who keep on criticizing our car and she is the most kiasu minded teacher/person in my life. Apparently she's a teacher from ss17 and she keeps on boasting about her car and saying that we cheated and we should be disqualified.
She even have the ability to talk non-stop and influencing the judges on certain points. Talking about soar looser.
But the weird thing... well not so weird, her team got 1st in overall. But isn't it strange?
SS17 wasn't in top3 for the Design of the car.
SS17 wasn't in top3 for the 5m Drag race too.
And I somehow wondered how they got 1st in the overall.
That is the strangest thing... Maybe she got extra points for talking like a kiasu face slapping aunty.

Bad Teacher

There's another bad teacher, well she shouldn't be bad actually but i could just say that she's not that responsible and very blur teacher.
Most of the works on the car are ideas and job done by Hui Mei & Dao Wei without a hand from teacher.
2nd, as she was sending us to Subang Utama, she somehow thought Subang Utama was SMKSJ until we have to brief her that it is not, Believe it its scary to be in her car. One moment you ask her to drive you home, next thing you'll end up in Thailand, or maybe you won't even reach Thailand or home cause the driving is so bad that you might end up in the hospital or a tree. Gosh teacher drivers..

When the results are announced and prize are given, I believe that good looks, don't gives you speed.

For my conclusion, good looking cars can't be quick,
therefore always drive a modified Perodua Ferrari Red Kancil Turbo if you want speed
(sorry can't find a pic of ferrari red kancil turbo)

But I found this, so maybe Perodua Fast and Furious 1 Green Kancil Turbo!
