Yes, I'm sounding like Kenny Sia in his post where he gets ready for his Penang Bridge Marathon.. Tomorrows the day where i'm not gonna run 50km across the penang bridge but only 5km around USJ2. All my "hard work" of only 2 months will begin to pay off. My aim is not to win the jogathon or get top 15 but just finish it without walking or chit chatting with friends. After 2 months of weekly practice, my stamina improved (well slightly). During the last Merentas Desa, after the first corner, I was already panting and exhausted and I walked almost the whole journey back, at least i made it to the finish line with full of embarrassment.(afternoon session girls overtook me)
This time, I've been training I'm not gonna let that happen again, Chee Mun (head coach) Training in MPSJ I like Clouds...Beats sunshine.. Wish me Luck..
I never really had a picture of the Petronas Twin Towers before. Never exactly observed the structure or the architecture of it too. Wonder how is it build especially by Malaysians.. Yes we do see them everyday in our school text books still saying that they are the number 1 tallest tower in the world. But its still a great achievement by Malaysians.
Anyway, had a pretty interesting dinner today, Behold the Fried Durian.
Today, I had to replace Dao wei for his solar car competition. Dao Wei was picked as one of the top 10 in Formula BMW, therefore he won't be in Sepang racing real cars(formula bmw cars) and we would be racing miniature solar cars.
The car wasn't built or designed by me. I'm more of the "test driver" of the car as you can say. I did manage to tune it to its best performance... hehehehe Bangga.. The competition consist of 4 categories. 1. Design 2. 5m drag race 3. Portfolio 4. Bonus marks. The Cars all lined up. look closely and you can spot a BMW M3 on the left. =S
In the designing category, we got disqualified because we don't have "a chassis or body work or some lego man inside the car" This was mentioned by Pn. Jega & Some annoying/kiasu/ahpek ss17 teacher. So we scored a 0 in that category.
In the 5m drag race, we could consider ourself pretty lucky. The drag race consist of 3 trial runs. The fastest time is recorded.
We were known as one of the underdogs there because of the appearance of the car and the support that we have. Other schools had about 5-6 people from their school cheering for their car and even the teachers were supporting their car. On our side, we had me and Hui Mei, the only supporter for SMK Seafield, our teacher was no where to be found and she was clearly useless too actually..
Our first run was brilliant and it stunned almost everyone there. When the whistle go off, our car didn't have the fastest acceleration but clearly beats everyone on its top speed. Seafield did a time of 3.00 Seconds. Apparently, when our car passed the finished line, it hit someone and suffered damage at the primary gear.
Our second run was pretty quick too but the damage can be noticed by the drop of speed and the alignment which made us disqualified as the car ran across the other lanes.
On our third run, we suffered a big lost because of the gear damage. The Car didn't finish more than 1/4 of the track.
But with only 1 time recorded, we manage to come in first beating second place by 0.2 seconds. ...

There were a few supporters after the race, many came to us asking about our car and they were all impressed with the concept of it. Even one teacher was greatly impressed with our school's car and she keep on showing it to her students and complimenting it. Good Teacher
On the other hand, there was another teacher, who keep on criticizing our car and she is the most kiasu minded teacher/person in my life. Apparently she's a teacher from ss17 and she keeps on boasting about her car and saying that we cheated and we should be disqualified. She even have the ability to talk non-stop and influencing the judges on certain points. Talking about soar looser. But the weird thing... well not so weird, her team got 1st in overall. But isn't it strange? SS17 wasn't in top3 for the Design of the car. SS17 wasn't in top3 for the 5m Drag race too. And I somehow wondered how they got 1st in the overall. That is the strangest thing... Maybe she got extra points for talking like a kiasu face slapping aunty. Bad Teacher
There's another bad teacher, well she shouldn't be bad actually but i could just say that she's not that responsible and very blur teacher. Most of the works on the car are ideas and job done by Hui Mei & Dao Wei without a hand from teacher. 2nd, as she was sending us to Subang Utama, she somehow thought Subang Utama was SMKSJ until we have to brief her that it is not, Believe it its scary to be in her car. One moment you ask her to drive you home, next thing you'll end up in Thailand, or maybe you won't even reach Thailand or home cause the driving is so bad that you might end up in the hospital or a tree. Gosh teacher drivers..
When the results are announced and prize are given, I believe that good looks, don't gives you speed.
For my conclusion, good looking cars can't be quick, therefore always drive a modified Perodua Ferrari Red Kancil Turbo if you want speed (sorry can't find a pic of ferrari red kancil turbo) But I found this, so maybe Perodua Fast and Furious 1 Green Kancil Turbo!
Monday, I realized that there was a slight cut on my upper lip, and thought it was just an ordinary cut. By Monday night, I realized that the cut begin to swell. But it wasn't much everything was still alright. Tuesday is when it all happen, I woke up and I saw my Lips the size of Angelina Jolie's one. freaking humongous. (trust me, it ain't sexy).. This made me had a slight fever and nausea.. Been extremely clumsy on that day, all because of this lips.. Lost my concentration and all.. Wednesday, finally my swollen lips begins to calm down and keep a lower profile but it ain't cheating anyone.. I manage to apply pressure to my lips without using my fingers at all to remove the pus from it.. the pus just shoots out and flows down... Went over to my dad and he helped me pressed it... Thats when tears starts to flow.. After that, he wiped it and poke the lighter colour skin of it and more pus begins to come out and he applied detol on it. That's not all, after all that, my dad realized that I have 2 pus on my lips. one ontop of another. My dad did the same procedure as the first one and applied detol. Damn it hurts like hell. can't eat, can't drink, can't do pretty much anything... damn it sucks to have a boil, especially not 1 but 2 on your lips.
Its our 10th months together, we've shared our ups and downs. Etc etc, I'm not much of a Romeo.. (sorry) The point is, we've just realized that we never had gone out for a date before.
Well today, we decided to go out on our "first date" You might be thinking why did I put the " ".........
First of all we had many double dates, triple dates, sometimes even quadruples dates, but no single date. So technically, its really a shocking thing once you think back... But yet realized how we manage to stick along happily.
Today, its still not really our first date too.. Its not a disappointment it was actually quite fun too, Xinghan eye's on the screen
Xinghan was invited, and no xinghan you're not a lamp post, remember the time when i hold your hand in the cinema, I hope Ryui Bynn is not jealous.. hahahahaha.. I guess I can get the hang of not having our first date too. If it ain't broken, don't fix it... Sherry at Starbucks...

Shrek The Third is pretty amusing, a show that I don't mind downloading it to watch it again. The funny thing about Pyramid's TGV is that, when its quiet, you can actually hear the background noises of drilling because of the constructions going on. Apart from that, there is only 4 cinema halls there. I know I'm alil outdated, but its alil shocking cause this is movie month!
Well, we still haven't gone out for our first date, its pretty weird.. But I'm alright with it. *Most Shots are taken with Sherry's new phone.. Nokia 6288... wooooo...
Looks like I've been making a habit by going jogging every week, which is a huge improvement for me. Before this, my only exercise was my fingers, clicking and typing.... Pretty good... But, I realised that i also have other parts of my body to be exercised... My Exercise Machine.
Anyway, mom woke me up at 5.45am earlier this morning just to go jogging. Pretty shocking time, especially on a Sunday. Streets were empty....
Bukit Kiara's Park is Huge, from the start to the end is roughly 4km long and it consist of many elevation and its contour is quite steep too. The start of the 4km track is all up hill for almost 500m.. Well to say how steep obviously I don't have a protractor to measure the angle of it, but I'm sure that if you would to roll yourself into a ball, you would be something like in the video.

That's Cool. Went to Summit to watch Pirates of the Caribbean 3 : At World's End today. The movie is pretty good, unlike Spiderman 3. Its a little confusing here and there but its a good idea to bring back the old characters. Good end to a trilogy

This post is a little different because its all in "chinese eyes" mode. Aka Widescreen... Finally the monitor is here and its doing pretty fine.. looks good too. All i need now is a dvd rom in my comp. That would be pretty awesome. Apparently, this monitor seems to be a little flimsy. But besides that, its all good.. Watching movies are great with it.. Finally i have my own room theater.
After a disappointing night, i woke up early to go jogging at the Subang Lake with the elderly. Time to train for stamina, Going to make a habit of jogging weekly. Maybe a Jogging partner would help? Maybe an iPod nano with nike + will help... just joking.. New shoe feels great, gives you confidence to run about.

13 May 2007, happy mother's day to all mothers. Leo had their 6th IU Night and I would like to say good job to them for doing a great job. Although there were negative sides and positive sides of it. Congrats to them for pulling it off.
On another hand, Our Pop band had our first Live performance. early in the morning, we waited and didn't had our rehearsals till 3pm.. And it was then that we realized that we aren't confident with Take That!'s - Shine. Bassist ain't ready, Guitarist can't memorized all the chords and back up vocals, Vocals/Drummer don't have the stamina to sing that tone, and pianist don't have 2nd mic to do backup.
Therefore, We did The Fray's - How To Save A Life. Not exactly very pop-ish and not exactly the crowd puller song but at least we didn't make a fool out of ourself screwing up Shine. But Shine is a great song which we must keep on practicing..
During our performance, we had a few screw ups, it all started while the bassist don't have the cables.
After having the cables, the drums was too loud and the piano was too soft which is a little pity cause the piano is the main part of the song.
